The bioMérieux VITEK 2 Compact 60 is a benchtop automated instrument for identification (ID) and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) of bacteria and yeast using VITEK 2 ID/AST cards. It is the highest-capacity model in the VITEK 2 Compact line and processes up to 60 cards at once. It has a built-in vacuum filler, an automated loader, on-board incubation, and colorimetric reading every 15 minutes. This unit is offered as instrument only. It suits labs already running VITEK 2 PC software, which supports up to four instruments on one PC, as an added or replacement instrument.
