Thermo Scientific Forma 310 Direct Heat CO2 Incubator — Stacked Pair (2 Units)

This is a matched pair of Thermo Scientific Forma 310 Direct-Heat CO₂ Incubators, factory-stacked on a mobile base — two fully independent 184 L (6.5 cu ft) chambers in a single footprint, for a combined 368 L / 13 cu ft of cell-culture capacity. Each chamber runs on its own Enviro-Scan microprocessor controller, so two setpoints, two teams, or two projects can run side-by-side without competing for space. The Direct-Heat (air-jacketed) design is the practical advantage of the 310 line: it is lighter and faster to recover after door openings than water-jacketed incubators, and there is no water jacket to drain before relocation — a real plus for a buyer moving the unit into a working lab.

Both chambers feature a polished stainless-steel interior with coved corners for easy cleaning, an in-chamber HEPA airflow system that filters the full chamber volume roughly every 60 seconds for contamination control, temperature control to ±0.1 °C, and CO₂ control (0–20%) via thermal-conductivity (TC) sensor. A chamber sample port allows CO₂ verification with a FYRITE or similar instrument. The 310 Series is approved for general microbiological incubation and for assisted-reproduction (ova/embryo) use, making it suitable for a wide range of mammalian cell-culture and clinical workflows. The pair was recently removed from a monitored, in-service environment.

Condition Notes

• Condition: Used / Inspected — powers on; performance not verified.
• Functional Status: Both incubators power on and display "SYSTEM OK" with no active faults; at the time of the photos each chamber was reading near ambient (~24–25 °C). The units were not brought up to a 37 °C setpoint for a temperature stability/uniformity check, and the TC CO₂ sensors were not calibrated against gas — so the on-screen CO₂ ("Inject") values are not meaningful and should be disregarded. Sold as inspected/powers-on; the buyer should calibrate CO₂ and verify temperature control before use.
• Cosmetic Status: Good used condition. Polished stainless interiors are clean; shelves, shelf supports, inner glass doors, and outer solid doors are all present and intact. Exterior cabinets show routine wear.
• Service History: Recently decommissioned from a monitored environment; third-party (Rees Scientific) sensor-certification labels dated 2025 are present on the cabinets.
