Instead of pipetting liquid between wells, the system moves tip combs and 96 magnetic rods through a sequence of plates on a rotating turntable, delivering highly reproducible bead-based purification (>95% particle collection efficiency) with minimal hands-on time. This configuration ships with the 96 deep-well magnet head (50–1000 µL processing range), and the interchangeable-head design lets a single instrument scale from low-volume PCR plates up to 5 mL deep-well formats simply by swapping heads. Protocols for common Thermo/Applied Biosystems MagMAX and other bead kits run from onboard memory or from a connected PC.
