The Thermo Scientific HERATHERM IMC 18 is a highly efficient, ultra-compact microbiological incubator. Utilizing advanced Peltier (thermoelectric) technology, this unit is capable of both heating and cooling, providing a precise operating temperature range of 17°C to 40°C. This sub-ambient capability makes it ideal for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) testing, water pollution analysis, and standard microbiological cultures. It features a forced-air internal fan for excellent temperature uniformity, an internal LED light for easy sample viewing through the glass door, and a space-saving design with a minimal benchtop footprint.
