The 908 Devices REBEL is a dedicated, at-line cell culture media analyzer engineered for rapid, real-time tracking of amino acids and media composition. Combining microfluidic capillary electrophoresis with high-pressure mass spectrometry (HPMS), this compact benchtop system eliminates the need for external core lab testing by delivering quantitative results in approximately 15 minutes. It enables process development scientists to track metabolite changes, identify depleted nutrients, and optimize feeding strategies directly at the point of need. The system is designed to measure up to 33 critical media components—including amino acids, biogenic amines, and vitamins—using simple, single-use REBEL chips and SMA consumable kits.

The front touch interface is bright and fully responsive. The internal hardware self-monitors properly, with the system status screen confirming the sample cooling block is actively holding at 9.3°C against a 5.0°C setpoint. Please Note: The software currently displays a warning alert that the installed consumables (Chip, BGE, and Standards) are expired. The currently installed chip indicates 65 samples remaining.
