Life Technologies Novex Mini Gel Tank w/ (2) Invitrogen Mini Blot Modules

The Novex Mini Gel Tank (by Life Technologies / Thermo Fisher Scientific) is a highly popular chamber originally designed for both the separation and transfer of proteins. Please note: This specific system has been configured strictly as a high-throughput wet transfer system. It includes two Invitrogen Mini Blot Modules (REF: B1000), which drop directly into the tank bays to enable efficient, high-quality wet transfer of proteins to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes. Because the standard gel-running cassette clamps are not included, this unit is ready for dual Western blot transfers but cannot run analytical gels without sourcing replacement clamps.

Condition Notes

• Condition: Used / Inspected & Good Condition.
• Functional Status: Visually and mechanically inspected. The clear polycarbonate tank is structurally sound. The internal electrode wires are fully intact, unbent, and free of heavy corrosion. The lid fits securely, and the integrated red/black power leads are in excellent condition with no fraying or exposed wiring. Both Mini Blot modules fit securely into the chamber bays.
• Cosmetic Status: Good used condition. The clear tank exhibits standard cosmetic wear, including minor surface scratching and faint buffer residue typical of routine benchtop use. There is no structural crazing or cracking that would cause leaks. As shown in the gallery, the internal platinized titanium electrodes on the blot modules show normal surface discoloration/staining from routine transfer usage, which does not impact functionality.
