Formulatrix Tempest V3 Microfluidic Reagent Dispenser w/ Pump Box V2.1

The Formulatrix Tempest is an ultra-fast, non-contact, bulk reagent dispenser designed to dramatically increase throughput in genomic, proteomic, and drug discovery workflows. Utilizing proprietary positive-displacement micro-valve technology via silicone chips, the Tempest can dispense multiple reagents simultaneously into 96, 384, or 1536-well plates with exceptional low-volume accuracy (down to 200 nL). This system includes the required external Pump Box V2.1 to supply the precise vacuum and pneumatic pressure needed for the microfluidic valves.

Please note: The Tempest relies on specialized silicone chips that are incompatible with certain harsh solvents. As stated on the factory warning label, dispensing DMSO, dioxane, acetone, or other non-polar liquids will damage the machine.

• Cosmetic Status: Excellent cosmetic condition. Both the main Tempest V3 unit and the Pump Box are clean and structurally sound. The internal acrylic chip carriage and metal reagent tube blocks show no signs of heavy chemical corrosion or mishandling.

It does not include the external Windows control PC, the Formulatrix Tempest software, or ongoing software licenses. It is highly recommended for laboratories that already utilize Formulatrix software or plan to acquire a license directly from the manufacturer.
