Bio-Rad S1000 Thermal Cycler w/ 96-Well Fast Reaction Module Gradient PCR Used

The Bio-Rad S1000 is the compact, keypad-driven member of Bio-Rad's 1000-series platform. It takes the same interchangeable reaction modules as the C1000 and C1000 Touch. This unit has the gradient-enabled Reaction Module 96W Fast installed. Its reduced-mass honeycomb block and hermetic O-ring seal give fast ramping and settling, and the programmable gradient speeds up annealing-temperature optimization. It can run stand-alone, or it can connect to a C1000 Touch as an extra bay to expand an existing Bio-Rad PCR setup.

• Powers on and boots to the main menu (Run / New / Edit / View / Files / Tools). Status reads "Block is idle."
• The 96-well sample block and gasket are visually clean, with no visible damage.
• The heated lid opens fully. The lid lever and force knob are intact.
• Light cosmetic wear consistent with lab use.
• A previous owner's third-party calibration label (2022) is still on the front panel, and that calibration has expired. Recalibration is recommended for regulated or GLP work.
